Application of Encapsulation Detergents: Specially formulated encapsulation detergents are applied to the carpet. These detergents contain specialty polymers that are compatible with each other. Unlike traditional surfactants, which can leave behind residue, encapsulators bind to both detergent molecules and emulsified soils.
